Lee Gebhart, born March 23, 1926, died January 28, 2023 in Kobacker House just a year after the death of his wife of 76 years, Elinor. They lived in Claremont Retirement Village for 8 years and in Fairborn most of their married life. He had a wonderful full life enjoying his family, traveling around the world & to all 50 states, following the Reds & Dayton Dragons and, of course, playing lots of Euchre, Tic and other card games. He is survived by his 4 children and spouses, Rebecca Dickson (Scott), Jonathan Gebhart (Carol), Janet Hammond, Margaret Vorac (Robert); plus 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. As an adult in his 30’s he received an Associate Engineering Degree from the University of Dayton and retired from Delco Products division of General Motors in Dayton, Ohio. He was an active member of Michael L. Finnell Masonic Lodge and with his wife in the Eastern Star chapter of Xenia. A memorial visitation will be held at Burcham Tobias Funeral Home, 119 E. Main Street, Fairborn, Ohio 45324 from 1-2pm on Thursday, February 23, 2023, with a memorial service to follow. Donations in his name may be made to Kobacher House at www.ohiohealth.com.
