John J. Pardi, age 79 of Fairborn passed away Sunday September 12, 2010 in Greene Memorial Hospital. John was born September 20, 1930 in Utica, New York the son of Angelo and Orsolina (Landucci) Pardi. He was a retired Computer System Analyst from Wright Patterson Air Force Base retiring in 1988 after 31 years of faithful federal services. John was a Korean Veteran serving with the US Army 7th Division. He was hired at Griffiss AFB in Rome, New York and was employed at ROAMA AMC Griffiss AFB in Rome, New York, Tinker AFB, Oklahoma and at WPAFB. He was a faithful member of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, a member of the Knights of Columbus #3724 of Fairborn where he served as Grand Knight (1982/1983). He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles (Wright Aerie # 2641) and the American Legion Post 526 of Fairborn. Survivors include his wife Evelyn Pardi, 2 daughters and son in laws, Debra and James Sharp of Battle Creek, Michigan and Karen and Robert Marchiny of Fairborn, 2 sons and daughters in law, John and Loree Pardi of Dayton, Ohio and Paul and Kim Pardi of Fairborn, 2 sisters and a brother in law, Rose Chambrone and Eda and John Scotellaro, a brother, Remo Pardi, a brother in law, Joe Gadicola, grandchildren, Timothy, Kara (Justin), Jordan, Nick, Ben, Jacob, Anna and Gina and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Angela Gadicola. Friends may call in the Burcham Funeral Home Thursday September 16, 2010 from 6 to 8 P.M. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday September 17, 2010 at Mary Help of Christian Church, 954 N. Maple Avenue, Fairborn, Ohio at 10 A.M. with Rev. Charles Lang, Celebrant. Burial will be in Byron Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Greene Foundation Circle of Victory.
