John Ivers

JOHN IVERS, age 77 of Fairborn passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 29, 2012 at Dayspring Nursing & Rehab Center. He was born the son of Ferman & Reta (Carter) Ivers in Union Twp., Ohio on October 15, 1934. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Margarete, son Michael Ivers, daughter Patricia Shearer, and a brother Donald Ivers. He is survived by daughter Linda Gardner of Fairborn, son Bobby Ivers (Tricia Randall), grandchildren Mike & Heather Ivers, Ryan Ivers, Lindsey & Sean Bennett, Crissy Pittman, Elizabeth Pitman, and David (Jenny) Shearer great grandchildren Andrew and Kobe, and several nieces and nephews. John retired from the United States Air Force and was the owner of Ivers Service Stations in Fairborn. He will be missed by all who loved him. Friends may call on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 6PM to 8PM at Burcham Jennings Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, Ohio where services will be held on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 10AM with Pastor Jim Clayton officiating. Interment will follow at Fairfield Cemetery.
