Mr. Francis J. Conner

Francis James Conner, 67, of Springfield went to be with the Lord, Monday, May 24th, 2010 suddenly. He was born August 12, 1942 in Wilmington, Ohio the son of James and Ruth Lippencot. Francis was an amazing husband, father and friend. He retired from Stebbins High School Bus Garage where he was employed as a Mechanic Supervisor. Francis was happiest spending time with his best friend and wife, Stella. They were married April 24, 1965 and recently celebrated their 45th Anniversary. He loved to work on cars and loved his garage. His family was his number one priority. He loved all the people at McDonalds and enjoyed working there. He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Ruth Lippencot. He is survived by his wife, Stella; sons, Kevin and wife Linda Conner of West Liberty, Ky., Keith Conner of Springfield, Ohio and Kenneth Conner also of Springfield, Oh; grandchildren, Christy Conner, Devin Conner, Tailer Yancy, Brittany Cost, Stephanie Cost, Sebastain Conner, and Alexis Conner; great grandson, Aiden Yancy; sisters, Nancy and Larry Staffin of Chillicothe, Ohio, Betty Conner of Dayton, Ohio, Patty Kerr of Wilmington, Ohio; and brother, Richard and Sylvia Conner of Dayton. He leaves behind his beloved dog and companion, Cuddles. Visitation will be held Friday, May 28, 2010 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Burcham Funeral Home, 119 East Main St., Fairborn, Ohio with services at the funeral home Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery.
