Emma Degenhart

Emma Degenhart, age 100 of Fairborn, passed away at home on Friday, August 24, 2012. She was born July 24, 1912 in Minot, ND. She is preceded in death by her parents Otto & Bessie (Semler) Smith, her husband Sherman Degenhart, sisters: Evelyn Getter, Irene Singleton, Lois Casebolt, and Gladys Smith, brothers: Ralph Smith, Leonard Smith, Bob Smith, son Robert Degenhart and daughter Janice Luce. Emma is survived by her daughter Jackie (& John) Stickel of Xenia, sons: Doug (& Wendy) Degenhart of Millfield, OH and Tom Degenhart of Fairborn, sister Betty (& Bill) South, and brother Jim (& Linda) Smith, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. Emma will be missed by all who loved her. Friends may call at the Byron Church, 3230 Trebein Rd., Fairborn, OH, 11:00AM-Noon with services at 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, August 28, 2012.
