Carol Spencer

Carol Spencer, born February 5, 1944 in Knoxville, Tennessee, was called home to to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 19, 2025. She is preceded in death by her loving husband Billy Spencer who passed on August 18, 2022. Their 59 years together were blessed by God’s grace, their daughter Sherri, love and laughter.

Aside from her loving husband, Carol is preceded in death by her parents James and Blanche (McGhee) McMillan, and sisters Barbara Hutchinson and Joan Brown.

Carol is survived by her loving daughter, Sherri Spencer, of Fairborn, Ohio. Also surviving is her brother, James (Sue) McMillan, of New Carlisle, Ohio; sister Patricia (Konnie) Lowrie of Fairborn, Ohio; numerous nieces. nephews, extended family and close friends.

Carol had the most loving, kind, generous heart. She loved her husband and daughter with a love so deep it knew no bounds. She gave her life to God and was a life-long member of the First Church of God Tabernacle, Fairborn, Ohio. Her love for God led her to be a Sunday school teacher. Carol enjoyed antiques, craft shopping, NASCAR races, and spending time with family. Carol had an unbreakable bond with her husband Billy, and daughter Sherri. Their time together was filled with love, laughter and precious memories. She will be forever loved by her daughter.

Private services will be held at First Church of God Tabernacle,1635 Montgomery Ave., Fairborn, Ohio. Pastor Lowell Lay will officiate.Carol will be laid to rest next to her husband Billy at Byron Cemetery, Fairborn, Ohio.
