Carlos McCoy

McCOY, Carlos 73 of Fairborn, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 28, 2018 with his loving family at his side. Carlos leaves to cherish his memory, the love of his life Donna whom he met on Valentine’s Day 1989; daughter and son-in-law Sharon and Glen Jr. Morefield, step-son Robert Sr. and Anita Johnson, four grandchildren Robert Johnson Jr., David Morefield, Tabbie (David) Null, Glenn Morefield III, seven great-grandchildren David, Taygyn, Noah, Liam, Olivia, Natalie and Cole. Also surviving are his siblings Elgie Collins, James McCoy, Curtis (Lois) McCoy, Palmer McCoy, Virgie (David) Gilliam, Emma (Donald) Landess, Woody McCoy numerous nieces, nephews and friends and his pet dog Buddy. Carlos was preceded in death by his parents Abraham and Bernie (nee Hess) McCoy, one grandson Christopher Drake, two siblings Edna Wright, Blanche Maynard. He was retired from the Fairborn City Schools, was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, he enjoyed country music traveling many times with Donna to Nashville, TN and enjoyed dancing with the love of his life. Carlos was a descendant of the famous McCoy’s and Hatfield’s, “He is a Real McCoy”. There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends, Wednesday, September 5, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the BURCHAM TOBIAS FUNERAL HOME, 119 East Main Street, Fairborn. Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Thursday, September 6, 2018 at ST. PETER CATHOLIC CHURCH, 6161 Chambersburg Road, Huber Heights, Ohio 45424.
