Brian Francis Shea

Brian Francis Shea of Fairborn Ohio passed into Heaven on Monday, August 8, 2023. Brian was born in Chicago, Illinois on March 8, 1943 to Rose (Warwick) and Frank Shea. Brian graduated from high school at St. Joe’s Preparatory School in Bardstown, KY.

Brian is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Lynn (McMurtry) Shea, and their two sons, Patrick Scott Shea (Debbie) and Jason Brian Shea. Also surviving are his grandchildren, Archer Thomas and Parker Lynn Shea, and his brother Patrick Dennis Shea.

Brian was preceded in death by his mother, Rose, and father Frank, as well as sister Joellen Shea Schonwald.

Brian worked as a computer analyst for 42 years at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. He and Lynn were longtime residents of Fairborn, and members of Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church.

Brian graduated from Indiana University and was an avid fan of I.U. sports teams. He took great pride in chiding his many friends who were fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes, telling them about their “inferior” teams.

Brian was an avid golfer, and an astute investor, who took a high level of interest in the stock market. He loved his family above all things and was an animal lover.

Brian’s celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations would be appreciated to Saint Vincent DePaul Fairborn Conference 954 North Maple Fairborn, Ohio 45324.
