He did not take a single day of sick leave in that time, but always made the most of his vacation with his family. He loved to hunt, camp, fish and explore the mountains. He loved to tell amusing stories of his life adventures and was always ready with a good joke.
Bill enjoyed telling about his accomplishments playing high school football. He was very proud he served in both the U.S. Army and in the Naval Reserve. He volunteered his time to help coach his sons’ little league teams. He will always be remembered as a hero by his three sons, a good man and husband by his wife Jo, and a friendly character by his family, friends and neighbors. The family thanks everyone for their care and support for Bill as his health declined this year.
The family will hold a graveside service at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Sacramento Jan. 25th, 2021 at 1:00 pm.
