Robert Weston Kirby

Robert Weston Kirby passed peacefully in his home in Folsom CA on July 18th, 2023. He was born in St. Clair MI to Robert Weston Kirby and Janet Wilke on March 31st, 1958. Robert, also known as Bob was the youngest of 5 children, Bill, Sue, Rodney, and Elizabeth. In 1969 the family moved to Folsom CA where he continue his education and graduated from Folsom High School.

Bob began working at the young age of 18 for CertainTeed in Cameron Park CA, later to be renamed PW Pipe where he would retire 25 years later at the mere age 43.

In 1982 he married the love of his life Kitty Keith and helped raise his stepdaughter, Jessica LaBrie. They later divorced.

After Bob retired he spent some time traveling with his mother and lived a period in Michigan and Arizona before settling down again in Folsom CA. Bob loved to rider his Harley, watch Nascar and attend local races. Bob loved family time and enjoyed getting together for a good home cooked meal. His favorite was tacos. Bob Cherished his 7 and a half years of sobriety after battling alcoholism for a majority of his adult life. He appreciated people in his life that encouraged him and helped him in his journey.He is survived by his two sisters, Sue (Jim) and Elizabeth (Les), nieces Shannon, Kenda, Carol, and Nicole and Nephew Scott as well as 13 great nieces and nephews and 15 great, great nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in Death by his parents Robert and Janet Kirby, Brothers, Rodney and Bill Kirby and great, great nephew Maverick.
