Norma A. (Chris) Towns, 96, died on Thursday, September 19th in Elk Grove CA. She was born on Dec 8, 1927 in Quincy Il, daughter of George Frese Sr. and Margaret (Niehaus) Frese. She was married to Kermit C. (Reb) Towns on April 13, 1956 in Springfield Illinois. Chris is survived by her loving family Cindy (Rich) Backer, Cathy (Eric) Pederson, Kathleen (Andy) Damiani, Diane Hughes, Michael (Melissa) Davidson, 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 brother, 2 sisters and 1 grandchild.
She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, dancing with her beloved husband, crafting and was a member of Epiphany Catholic Church in Normal, Illinois until moving to CA in 2009.
Chris and Reb with be laid to rest at Calgary Cemetery in Quincy, Illinois.
