Maria Adela Ramos de Crespo transitioned peacefully on the morning of Sunday, June 30th at the age of 96 at her residence in Folsom, California surrounded by love. She was born on November 17th, 1922 in San Salvador and was daughter to Clotilde Ramos and Jose Cordova.
She came to the United States in the late 1940's and met her future husband at her job at the Chesterfield Cigarette Factory. They returned to El Salvador where they started a family. They moved permanently to San Francisco, California in 1961 where they lived until 2005 when they moved to Folsom, California.
She was a devout Catholic and kept strong in her faith. She prayed the rosary every night until she was no longer able to. She also devoted her life to raising her family. She was a loving homemaker who could work miracles with a sewing machine. Her hobbies included knitting, crocheting, sewing, and embroidery. She loved a good word search and also enjoyed playing board games.
Maria was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Enrique Crespo. She is survived by four children, Sonia, Ernesto, Graciela, and Julio, 13 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild. She will be greatly missed by all whom she leaves behind. We are comforted in knowing that she is resting in peace and is accompanied by her husband and in God's loving care.
We remember Maria Adela on Tuesday, July 9th from 4pm - 8pm with a visitation and rosary service and continue to celebrate her life on Wednesday, July 10th at 10am followed by a gathering at her residence.
