Lois passed away peacefully, her family by her side, on the pleasant afternoon of May 1, following a brief illness. Lois was born in St. Paul, Minnesota and migrating west with her family as a young girl. After graduating from San Juan High School in Citrus Heights and attending a local business college, she was employed at the Sacramento Air Depot. She met and married Staff Sgt. Wendell Frazier in North Sacramento. Becoming an Air Force bride they travelled base to base across the USA and Europe. Their first child Ruth Ann (Chesnut) came along in 1947 followed by Bruce in 1952. Retiring in 1961 and moving to Fair Oaks the family became residents of “Haverman” country on Magnolia St. She will be remembered most for associations she had with her fellow Fair Oakians in the Women’s Thursday Club (life time member), Co-Founder of the Fair Oaks Theatre Festival, Fair Oaks Historical Society, Fair Oaks Foundation for Leisure and the Arts, Chamber of Commerce and a member of the San Juan Alumni Association. You might say she had her fingers in all of the Fair Oaks pies (COOKIES). Lois is preceded in passing by her husband Wendell, parents John and Katherine Haverman, brother Earl Haverman, sisters Elsie Murphy, Caroline Jones, Katy Netherton and Violet Williamson. Survivors include daughter Ruth Ann Chesnut (Mike), son Bruce Frazier. Granddaughters Stephanie Hale (Steve) and Kimberly DeGiorgis (Shad). Great-Grandsons Jake and Justin Hale and Tristan and Austin DeGiorgis. And many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her honor to the Fair Oaks Historical Society or F.A.F.L.A. We all loved her very much and will miss her every day. Funeral at Mount Vernon at 1:00 pm Monday May 10, 2021 with a celebration of life following immediately at the Fair Oaks Community Club House. Private interment in the Fair Oaks Cemetery.
