LeRoy Vernon Boren

LeRoy Vernon Boren. Sr. , age 94, was granted his angel wings on November 13, 2022. His final days were spent in home and surrounded by family, after a brief battle with an aggressive pancreatic cancer.

LeRoy was born in Nyssa, Oregon on December 1, 1927. He was raised in Idaho before he moved to the Bay Area of California. He was a machinist for Lockheed Martin Corporation and later worked in the community cleaning houses alongside his wife, Louella. His adventures included a passion for driving, which he enjoyed since he was 10 years old. He loved to go bowling, dancing, horseback riding, water and snow skiing, to travel, and to spend time with family. He lived every day to the fullest, sharing his kindness and zest for life with all who knew him.

LeRoy survived by his loving wife, Louella of 52 years; daughter Jean (predeceased) and her spouse Larry Phillips; step daughter Patsy and her spouse Ken O’Connell; son Troy Jr. and his spouse Ricann Davenport; daughter Connie Davenport and her partner Janet Rodgers; son Ron and his spouse Hui Davenport; daughter, Michelle Boren; son LeRoy Jr. and his spouse Cathy Boren; 19 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
