Dear Family:
My thoughts and prayers and love are with you all, my extended family. For over 42 years I have known my best friend JoAnn.  Katherine became my 2nd Mother and of course I called her 'Mom", too. I loved hearing the  interesting stories of her life growing up, and the difficult jobs she held over the years.  She always amazed us how she worked so hard to take care of her beautiful yard, by hand, no less!  And her collection of glass bottles she dusted by hand every year! I envision you, Mom Becker, dancing the Polka in Heaven, at peace, pain free and laughing! You leave a legacy of love of family, kindness, perseverance, hard work, and strength of character. I'm so thankful you were a part of my life.  I love you, "Mom" and Happy Mother's Day!

I will truly miss you grandma but will keep the skills and lessons you taught me forever. Thank you for always being such a tough and loving person. I will truly miss you. I will always love you and never forget you. My lawn will be weed free because the countless hours you showed Nick and I how to properly pull weeds and not just cut them out. Some of my most memorable times as a child were with you. To the rest of the family sorry for not being able to make it but a little to banged up from motorcycle accident. Hope all of you find peace and lets live with no regrets and be proud to tell our life stories as Grandma did. My love to all and best wishes to everyone..

   Kathrine Becker was my great grandmother. I remember her always being so strong through anything. She was such an amazing woman so proud and never afraid to say what was on her mind and she was the center of attention always having something to say with her great sense of humor.  She was a little rough sometimes but everything she did was out of compassion and love for others. I loved going to her house when i was younger, she would put me right to work on the yard but she would be out there too making me laugh at the way she would get so made at the weeds and blemishes in her lawn. She cooked the best butterball soup in the world and told some awesome stories that never bored me. I wish i would have gotten to spend more time with her.  but i am glad she got to meet my wife and children whom she immediately fell in love with. I could keep going on and on but ill leave it at that for now.  We miss you soo much great grandma thank you for all you have taught me.

You are always in my heart and now you are with the Angels caring for Grandpa and Cindy.  May you be at peace in your heart and find what was lost these last few years.

I always admired you and you have always been my mentor. The last couple of years I made your Butterball soup not as good but I tried. This last Easter I made your Schnitz soup, I remember your secret ingredients. It tasted just like how you would make it.
How lucky I was to have a grandma who showed me secrets and tricks in life and stayed strong even until the end.  

You are always in our hearts and will never be forgotten.  If mom could write she would send you a note and let you know how much she loves you.

My dear grandma you have always been a strong woman and you were strong until the end. You were always my mentor and deep down inside I felt my personality has been similar to your personality.  I will never forget you and you will always be in my heart and continue to be the mentor I have looked up to for so long. I close my eyes and try to see the grandma Becker that use to be.
I can hear her laughter and see the smile on her face. Her hair was always so perfectly in place. she held herself proudly and with style and grace.,and wow what memories of the hollidays that took place..The easters, the 4th of julys.The famous fruit soup and gudobblins and glace..
She would spend the day pulling weeds and mowing, she did  it by herself what ever needed to be done. she loved being outside in the wonderfull sun...
For as long as i can remember she grew the best grapes.She loved to bake cookies pies and cakes..Her jar was never empty when you stopped by.Full of different kinds,better then the ones you could buy...
She loved to bowl,crochet afghans,and dance the polka..She told us stories of the past. From shipyards to the beet fields,the shoe making and the almond growers.Time and time again..She liked to tell them and we liked to listen..grandma Becker was  a grandmother that everyone would love to of had.She was kind ,loving and funny and i will miss her very much..much love Debbie Peters (Arbuckle ca.)(grandaughter)

There was no better Gandmother than Katherine Becker. I will never forget the many fishing trips, her cooking of German dishes, cookies, the many phone conversations that we had, the Mexico trip, being by my side at the hospital in Iowa, and yes the great times, that my sisters and cousins spent at her house during the summers.You will be missed greatly   
  "Love You Grandma"

When I was a child, my family would come to Sacramento from Orland for big family get togethers with the local aunts, uncles and cousins at Aunt Katie and Uncle Alex's Carmichael home.  I enjoyed those trips.  My husband and I bowled with Aunt Katie for many years at Crestview Lanes.  We took home a few 1st place trophies.  I will miss Aunt Katie and her stories.

I was and am considered a son and member of the family since the early fifties .I will miss that smile (mischeivious) and chuckle that was always part of our relationship.She will be, even today,  caring for her yard and waiting for us to join her.Please be content. mom we are coming ! Our Little General, how we will miss her stories  of beet thinning, ship building and polka dances!! Seeing her dance at our wedding, attend Chanel's graduation from Chico State, family dinners, birthday celebrations and holidays! Her sense of humor always kept us laughing! James L. I meet Katherine 6 years ago, I will miss the home made cookies she use to make. I enjoyed visiting her. I will miss the stories she told me about her life. Katherine was a strong willed person I have known. she lived a long and wonderful life. Katherine will be missed.

Katherine had an great life...she must of had some great stories to tell....you're in my prayers, love you!
