Dear Lorraine and Family,
Thank you for letting us know of John's passing. I am so glad that I was able to see and visit with him at the reunion. He was always "larger than life" in high school as I am sure many other classmates will say. Along with that larger than life persona came a large heart. He will be fondly remembered by all. May your wonderful memories of your life together help comfort you and your family.

So sadden to hear of John's passing. I grew up as a friend of his and the family, living in the same neighborhood.  My prayers go out to his family.  
I have tried to locate Debbie and John over the years, but was unsuccessful.

Dear Lorraine and Family,
I am saddened to hear of John's passing.  He fought the good fight and stayed the course that was uniquely John.  I want you to know how much it meant to me to reconnect, even briefly, with him at the Savanna 50th Reunion.  He was so courageous in his spirit and the effort it took for him to attend.  I sensed that it became a bucket list event for him.  As many others will also say, John was one of a kind and he took great pride in that position.  He has served his mission well and may now rest in peace.
