Irene Meder

Irene Meder passed away in her sleep March 28, 2014 at the age of 92. Irene was born in Vacaville, CA, moving to Sacramento in 1940. Irene worked at the County Supervisors office retiring in 1972. Irene belonged to The Ladies Forum and The Los Ninos Service League. She was an excellent tennis player and an avid sports fan of the SF 49ers, SF Giants and Nascar’s Jimmy Johnson. Irene loved her flowers and enjoyed gardening.

Irene is preceded in death by her husband of 46 years Ernie Meder and son Richard Meder. Irene is survived by her daughter Carol Graham and son -in -law Albert Graham, grandchildren; Bill Shower and Deanna Ring, 6 great grandchildren; Christopher Shower, Kelsie Shower, Kasie Ring, Jamie Ring, Rachel Bano, and Ally Bano, 2 great great grandchildren; Micayla Shower and Rylee Shower.

Family and Friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday, April 3 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. with a Funeral Service to follow on Friday, April 4th at 10:00 a.m. at Mount Vernon Memorial Park & Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Lane, Fair Oaks, CA 95628
