Helen E. Hall

Helen Hall, a resident of Yuba City, California died Friday March 17th, 2023. Helen Ester Hall was born May 10, 1934 in Roseville, California. She was the fifth of ten children born to Jesse and Ina Davis Murch. She graduated from Lincoln High School in Lincoln, California in 1952 and shortly there after met her husband who was a Staff Sgt. in the United States Air Force stationed at Travis Air Force Base in Solano County. They were married on February 8, 1953 in Las Vegas, Nevada. For the next 14 years they were stationed at several Air Force Bases throughout the United States retiring to their home in Citrus Heights, California in 1967 to raise their five children.

Helen worked for over 30 years as a bookkeeper in both the construction and retail fields. After retiring in 1996 she moved to Rough and Ready, California to live with her youngest daughter and son-in-law in the quiet foothills spending her time reading, gardening and researching her family history which she so enjoyed.

Helen is survived by her daughters, Alicia Trigo of Yuba City, California, Marie Hall of Tucson, Arizona, sons Steven and Ralph Hall Jr. of Spokane, Washington. Brothers David Murch of Hillsboro, Oregon and Bertrum Murch of Weldon, California. Sisters Juanita Latham of Las Vegas, Nevada, Peggy Mize of Yuba City, California, Janet Bowden Lee of Bakersfield, California and Linda Catlett of West Plains, Missouri. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph A. Hall in 1984, daughter Marie Kathleen Hall in 1954, daughter Diana Hall in 2015, mother Ina Davis Murch in 1978, father Jesse M. Murch in 1985, sister Katricia Boyden in 1999, and brother Eugene Murch in 2010.

Helen's request was for a graveside service which will be held at Mount Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, California on March 30th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m.
