Elizabeth Jeanette Long

Long, Elizabeth Jeanette (Toots). Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family after a brief illness, on March 2, 2015. Jeanette was born December 10, 1929 in Bend Oregon. She grew up in Seattle Washington where she attended community college. In 1950 while on a blind date she met a soldier named Jerry Long. Four weeks later they were married. After relocating to California they had two sons, Gary and Brad, and were happily married for 25 years until his untimely death in 1976. Throughout the years she enjoyed part time jobs fostering life long friendships with coworkers at Gemco and The Brides Nest. She received her greatest pleasures spending time with family and friends. She loved parties and get togethers, especially her regular evenings of domino's with all the Olivebranch Lane girls. Jeanette is proceeded in death by her husband Jerry, sister Joyce Holeman, and mother Elizabeth Ditty. She is survived by her sons Gary (Anne) and Brad (Jan) along with grandchildren Jerrett, Andy, Ryan, Chrissy, Amanda and eight adored great grandchildren.
