Born to James Henry and Jennie Wolfram Magers on September 17, 1923, she passed away June 30, 2012. She was 88 years old. She was a long time resident of Loomis, Ca. Affectionately known as Becky, she was a loving wife, devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother; our family matriarch. She will be missed and remembered always. She attended Mount St. Scholastica Academy in Atchison, Kansas. She served as a civilian guard for the Army Quartermaster’s Office during WWII. She also was a skilled builder of homes. Together with her husband and children, she worked tirelessly to build three family homes. A former member of the Jim Beam and Ski Country bottle collecting clubs, she and her husband, Francis, were also former members of Sacramento area model train clubs.
Preceded in death by her husband whom she wed on June 26, 1943 in St. Joseph, Missouri. Also preceded in death by her siblings Roberta, Marie, Juanita and Samuel and brother in law, Eugene Eister. Survived by daughters Janet Shull(Don), Cindy Rowell(Jim) and son, Bill Eister(Jan), ten grand children and seven great-grandchildren. Viewing will be on July 6 from 5-8pm with a Rosary vigil at 5:30 at Mount Vernon Memorial Park and Mortuary, located at 8201 Greenback Lane Fair Oaks Ca, 95628. Funeral Services will be held at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 4450 Granite Drive Rocklin, Ca on Saturday, July 7 at 9:30am. Interment will be at Calvary Catholic Cemetery, located at 7101 Verner Avenue, Sacramento. Reception to follow
