Donna Sue Ray

Donna Darnell (Ray), born on 11/22/1956 in Rantoul, Illinois to H.B Darnell and Betty Jean Langston. Donna passed away peacefully in her sleep on 9/2/2022 in Sacramento, CA, where she went to join her Dad, mom, granny and all other loved ones that have passed.

Donna is survived by her sister, Janice Groves, Brother, Philip Darnell, 4 children, Michael Mosley , Jennifer Garcia , Melissa Jackson and Joline Martinez. Donna has 14 grandchildren that she loved deeply with all her heart.

Donna Went to Fairfield Elementary School and Fairfield HS through her sophomore year. She finished HS at Calloway County HS, Murray KY. Donna began working on a nursing degree at Murray State. Where she became a licensed LVN.

Donna then moved back to California where she would eventually raise all her children, and spent most of her time as a stay at home mom.

Donna loved to laugh! Tell jokes! Was amazing at crafting! And always pushed through life struggles with a smile on her face! Donna was always happy and in a good mood, loved on others and was loved by so many.

Donna was a loving and caring person, she will be deeply missed by many.

A celebration of life ceremony will take place on Saturday Sept. 24th in Sacramento Ca where family and close friends will gather.
