Today we would have celebrated our 8th Anniversary .. I put my ring away and just wear yours now .. you are forever in my Heart ..

Happy Birthday my Sweet Sweet Baby .. went camp'n at SRA in Tahoe for our Birthdays .. had fond memories both at Tahoe on the lake & in Virginia City at that old old Cemetery 'Silver Terraces' - drank a beer at the Bucket of Blood Saloon .. and enjoyed your essence around every turn .. I brought w/ me that Birthday card from last year that you told me to save for this year .. but I never got to give it to you .. I miss you .. I love you ..

Think of you often, but special thoughts of you today. I know you'd be on vacation at this time of year. You and Kay always seemed to get that 'special' week together. ;) 
Can't tell you how often I hear..."Don would do it this way' or 'Don always said no problem'. Keep smilin down on us(or are you laughing?). Will be tippin a cold one to you tonight.

The first thing that comes to mind when i think of Don is his ear to ear smile and contagious laugh. I met Don when I was a little girl...my brother an sister and I were the new kids on the block and over time I became best friends with his daughter, Kristy. My brother and Eddie also played little league together, so I saw Don a lot as a child. He was one of the dads, always there to make us laugh and always had that huge grin on his face. He had a way to always be on our level as kids, letting us know that he understood the silliness of life and made us feel understood. After many sleep overs and little league games we all shared many memories as families together and it only takes me a moment to think back to those days and I can be right back there. Kristy shared that same contagious smile and laugh as her father had - Something that many many people remember of Kristy. Though I haven't seen Don in a few years, the spirit of who he is to me will be imprinted on my soul, just like Kristy...forever. Until I see both of you in heaven, I'll know you both will be smiling and having a hay day laughing at us, until we meet again. Sending butterfly kisses your way, all day every day.

My heart truly aches and there are never going to be any words to describe how much you meant to me and how much I will miss you. You were always very thoughtful of me and my family and that meant more to me than anything. Most of all I am so thankful for our last talk and knowing that you knew just how much I love you!

We met you when you were 19. You had such a fun loving nature and sense of humor that you carried through your life. Your boys always mentioned things you were up to and projects that you helped them with. Everyone has lost a wonderful man and friend. 
Not only are you now with the angels but with your daughter Kristy as well. Love ya guy,

  I wish there was just one more day hanging out in the backyard or another dinner. Playing cards will never be the same, since you were always the CHAMPION (to my mom's dismay of course)! I will miss your jokes, the infamous eight, eight, oh eight' day of reckoning or the Kay Bird' story. I'll always remember those. I'll miss Christmas mornings too, waking you up and sticking way too many ribbons and bows on you. And the backyard, that blueberry bush you planted for us, even though I'm certain you did not want a blueberry bush. Even going out of your way to get us vegetarian options you could do on the grill for us. I'll miss the days just doing nothing and the days coming along on errands with you Just every day, I'll miss you.

I don't know where to start to talk about the man I called my brother from another mother you will truly be missed. Don I had the wonderful pleasure to work with you love you.

He always acted so gruff, but had a marshmallow for a heart... And the only way one knew if he was joking or serious was to look for the twinkle in his eye! He ALWAYS looked out for his drivers and the clients we served and was just the worlds biggest ROCK STAR in my eyes.  
Don, you were my mentor, my supervisor & a good friend... Thank you for just being wonderful!  I'm gonna miss you!

The loss of Don is a loss for all of us.  A wonderful man who has always made our jobs easier and made his complicated job look easy.

I have known Don and Kay for a long time now.  Don was the funniest and sweetest man.  Whether going out to breakfast or hanging out in their backyard on weekends, so many memories of laughter and fun and silliness.  He was also fun to just talk with, there was no subject that he was not familiar and eager to talk about. Don loved life and was always excited about his latest adventure with Kay.  Don and Kay were the happiest love birds I knew, they had and have a love to be admired.  Don was special and I miss him so much, but I am blessed to have shared life with him.

I"am really truly sorry for your loss.  Don is funny and he always make"s me laugh . When i walk by his desk and he always ask me if i seen his peanut butter jelly sandwich and i would say no i ate it . am going to miss seein him and talkin to him at work . U are a good friend  i will miss u don rest in peace

I can't imagine anyone who met Don not liking him.  He brought a smile to everyone he came in contact with.  Don, his smile and his sense of humor will be terribly missed at PRIDE Transit.  He will forever be in our hearts!!  We love you Don!

Don was the Best Supervisor I've had in all the years I have been a bus driver which is 30 plus yrs. He was always there to solve any problem that one might have. He was kind, patient, and above all Cared for all of his drivers at Pride. He treated all the drivers with kindness and respect. He will be greatly missed, as he was one of a kind.

never got to met him but heard many good things about him and he seem really nice. and he was very helpful and the most hard working man and my prayers goes out to his family and many love one and all the pride bus drivers out all who he men't a lot to many people let you rest in peace.from Lindsay.
