DeElva Driskell, known as Dee, born May 7, 1926 in Benjamin, Texas, passed away Thursday, February 2, 2012. Dee and her late husband Melvin had 4 daughters and is survived by daughters Gayla Smith, Terri Carlson, and Robin Minadeo, daughter Linda Gupton having passed away previously. Dee is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and numerous others she considered her extended family. A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday February 9, 2012 at Park Community Church, 3901 Wild Chaparral, Shingle Springs. Dee was a friendly, loving, caring, person with an infectious smile who immediately liked everyone she met. She will be truly missed by all.
