We would also like to acknowledge her former husband Cory Albert and former husband Michael Reno and his children Jesse, Beth and Mark Reno. She is predeceased by her father’s George Ogden and Edward Jerrell, all four grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
Cindy was born on Jan 21, 1963 in Los Angeles, CA. to George and Lorna Ogden where they resided. She spent her younger childhood years along with her siblings Russell and Shelly enjoying the sun, sand and taking visiting family members to Disneyland. During the summers, they would make the trek upstate to Pennington, CA. to visit and help their grandparents with their Almond orchards. The work was hard but always rewarding as they got to sit on the back porch afterwards to drink yummy Pepsi Floats. After the passing of her father George in 1973 she moved to Fair Oaks, CA. at the age of 10 with her mother and two siblings where they began a new chapter in their life in which she enjoyed making many friends, being in the 4H Club, horseback riding, playing the flute in the high school marching band, and where her love for attending concerts began. After graduation from Del Campo High School in 1981 the family was enlarged by her mother’s second marriage to Edward Jerrell in 1982 along with children Joan, Eddie and Kim. Great love and respect grew from this union living in a 3-bedroom, one bath house with seven people.
Cindy went on to study to be a Medical Assistant at the Bryman College where she blossomed and found her true calling to aid and care for others. She started work at a Urology Practice which greatly enlightened her to the facts of life where many great and some shocking encounters led to stories which she chose to share over the dinner table and are still being retold years later. To broaden her experience, she then went to work at Kaiser Permanente in the Urology Dept. as a Medical Assistant and shortly after joined the Orthopedics Dept. which led to a 30 plus year career. While being a mother and working fulltime at Kaiser she continued her education to become a LVN which she was very proud of and highly valued her work in the medical profession. This allowed her to remain in the Orthopedic Dept. under her new title as well as remain as the assistant for Dr Kevin Gramyk whom was also known as her work husband. She greatly loved her time in the Orthopedics Dept. at Kaiser which also included assisting Dr. James Voigtlander as well as working with many others and she considered all her coworkers as her second family. Cindy never stopped learning and finding new ways to make money. She had a great entrepreneurial spirit. She became a Massage Therapist on the side, became a Damsel in Defense distributor, and turned her love of crocheting and doing a variety of awesome crafts into extra cash as well.
Cindy was a devoted, loving mother and grandmother who took great pride in her children and grandchildren. She loved spoiling them. She enjoyed taking her grandbabies to the zoo, swimming with them, playing and reading to them and when they lived out of state visited them often. She was also a devoted wife, daughter, sibling and friend. She was very giving and would do anything for anyone.
She loved wearing hats and jewelry and had her own unique fabulous style which spelled FUN. Cindy was an avid lover of life with an adventurous spirit. She genuinely loved being with others and was the life of any party and always upbeat. She was a fan of watching Star Wars, Football, Nascar, Game of Thrones and the Vikings. She enjoyed going to the beach, sitting in the spa, attending concerts as a hard-core music lover, camping, traveling, partaking of wine and margaritas and dancing with her husband Greg, family and friends. She was a mermaid at heart. Most of all she loved spending time with all those she cared about which included us all.
There are a million wonderful attributes our dear Cindy possessed. She truly personified the adage of a life well lived to the fullest though sadly it was way too short. She will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure and blessing to know her and spend time with her. She made the world a better and brighter place by being part of it. She will forever be in our hearts and never be forgotten. We will miss her beyond words. We all look forward to one day being joyfully reunited.
