Catherine Tankersley

Born August 7, 1926, in Bonanza, Arkansas.

Catherine passed away on March 9, 2012, in Folsom, CA at 85. Preceded in death by her beloved husband Robert, daughter Sharon & infant children Deborah and Steven.

Survived by 4 brothers & 5 sisters. She was greatly loved by her children Robert, Terry, Paulette, Pam, Ronnie, Connie, Debbie, Linda and Tish. She was adored by her 17 precious grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Catherine died in the midst of her family, her most precious treasure. She had a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to laugh! She was an avid gardener who passed that trait on to many of her children. She also worked in the communications industry with her husband until they retired.

Our mom had a way of touching everyone she came into contact with. She was "Mrs. T" and Grandma to children too numerous to count.

Family and friends are invited to a Visitation on Friday, March 16, 2012, at Mount Vernon Mortuary, 8201 Greenback Ln., Fair Oaks, between the hours of 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm, and a Funeral Service on Saturday, March 17, 2012, at the Mount Vernon Chapel at 10:00 am with a reception to follow at Heritage Church, 561 Highway 65, Lincoln, CA.

A private interment will be held on Sunday, March 18th, at Skylawn Cemetery in San Mateo, CA.
