Carol Ann Fowler

Carol Ann Fowler from Lincoln, California passed away at 81 on April 11 at home in her sleep. Born February of 1933 in Fairview, Utah. Daughter of Frank and Cecile Coombs. Growing up, Carol had a host of child hood illnesses. Carol married Junior Forbes in September 1950 in Salt Lake City, Utah. When Carol was married to Junior Forbes she was very involved with a few Equestrian drill groups and performed in many rodeos. Carol was also a Beauty Queen in her early years. Carol graduated from Davis High in Layton, Utah. She worked at LH Strong motor company in Salt Lake City, Utah. Divorced later and married James Fowler in May 1971. Jim and Carol were later sealed in the Oakland LDS temple. After her marriage to James Fowler she worked for 16 years at Lockheed Aerospace, in Sunnyvale, CA and retired upon James’s death. Later she moved to Lincoln, CA where she became very active in her LDS church. She is survived by her children: Ron (Cynthia), Randy (Chris), Tammy and her stepchildren: Cindy (Steve), Jimmy (Teresa), Steve (Angela) and her 23 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her step daughter Francine.

Carol was a devoted Mother, Wife and a loving grandmother and friend to all she knew. An Angel, Bright light and inspiration to all that she touched. She will be missed by all.
