Betty-Jo Cox

Betty-Jo Cox, 73, born in El Paso, TX, and residing in Antelope, CA, died January 4th, 2017, after a long battle with lung cancer. Betty-Jo, the daughter of Flora Minerva Morrison and stepfather Richard Earl Morrison, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family. She is preceded in death by her husband, Walter H. Cox., mother Flora Minerva Morrison and step father Richard Earl Morrison. She is survived by her children: Dwayne Morgan, Kim Choate, Jeanine Cox and Mike Cox, stepchildren: Cathy DeCuir, Bonnie Goosic, Karen Cox, and Missy Pasqua, grandchildren: Morgan Choate, Lauren Choate, Reed Morgan, Natalie Cox and Chloe Cox, step grandchildren: Jeremy Cox, Tiffany DelRio, Forrest DeCuir, Jennifer Beeman, Caleb Goosic, Micheal Cox, Marc Cox, Keesean Cox, Jazmin Cox, Giovani Pasqua, sisters: Diane Morrison, Judy Smith, Penny Schurman, and brother Rick Morrison. She is also survived by countless great grandchildren, nieces, nephew, and cousins. Betty-Jo was a loving mother, wife, and grandmother who always showed great compassion, grace, kindness, thoughtfulness and love to all those she met. She will always be remembered in our hearts for the love she gave us all.
