Agnes Marie Harris

Agnes was born on May 15, 1945, in Wadsworth, Ohio. After graduating from Wadsworth High School, she moved to southern California where she attended Orange Coast College. Agnes then moved to Yuba City, CA to be closer to her mother in the 1970’s. She took a job at Sutter General Hospital in Sacramento as an ER Registration Clerk, later moving into the business office in administration. When she retired in May 2010 after more than 35 years, she was an Educator Liaison for Business Administration. Agnes or Marie as many knew her, had many friends at Sutter General that were very dear to her, and she thought of many of them as her extended family.

Agnes loved her longtime boyfriend Stanley Favors, her cats and dogs, music and gardening. But most of all she loved life, and her Family.

She is preceded in death by her parents John and Pauline Arpad, sisters Pauline Arpad, Mary Arpad and Ann McClure.

She is survived by two older brothers, John Arpad Jr. and wife Emily of Colorado Springs, Colorado and Joseph Arpad of Wadsworth, Ohio.

Although Agnes never had any children of her own, she has many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews that loved her dearly, she treated all of them as her own.

Agnes was at peace during her passing, we will always love and miss her.

There will be a private Family Celebration of Life. Agnes has requested no services but donations to be made to the SPCA in her honor.
