Marsha was a such a special person in my life, as my aunt, my godmother, and a second mom. Many have stated it already, but it can be said enough how kind, calm, and warm Marsha was to everyone. I remember when I had a life changing event and Marsha was so encouraging and supportive of my decision. She was a main part of my support structure. In this instance and numerous other times, she always made time for me, listened intently, and always made me feel like I was the most important thing in her life at that moment. To put it simply Marsha was blessed with the gift of warmth, it radiated out of her. It is very hard to say good bye to her, but her warmth will always be felt.

I will always be grateful for the open arms, soft shoulder and listening ear that Marsha provided to Marty and I during a time of extreme tumult and uncertainty in our lives! Marsha’s grace and love were truly out of this world! Marsha was the epitome of a caring and compassionate person. She exemplified extraordinary empathy, not only with her words, but more importantly with her actions, both big and small! We are rocked to the core by her passing.  We send our love to Bob and Tim. 

I met Marsha 26 years ago when my youngest son, Kevin started preschool. Kevin had just been diagnosed with juvenile diabetes (Type 1) and I was a wreck. After meeting Marsha and her aid Ellen Johnson, my husband and I felt like we had won the lottery. Her calm caring gentle nature made her the perfect teacher. To this day, my son Kevin will say she was his favorite teacher. She loved all her little preschoolers. I heard from Marsha in February and she was so happy her Lucy was on the mend and sent me a picture of Sam and Lucy hugging. She always signed off with a 😘. I will always remember Marsha and her beautiful family- I know she went straight to heaven and she’s blowing everyone sweet kisses 😘! 

I feel so lucky to be a part of the Spokas family and truly honored to have had Marsha as my mother-in-law.  Marsha was an incredible human being.  She had the kindest, most loving heart of anyone I have ever known.  Not once, did I ever hear her speak negatively of anyone or anything.  She was a wonderful listener and when you were speaking, she made you feel like you were the most important person in her world at that time.  I have often tried to live my life more like Marsha - being present , finding joy in all things big or small, and showing kindness whenever possible.  Marsha will live in my heart and my memory forever and I will continue to try to live up to the amazing woman she was.  I love you, Marsha. 

I was honored to have a Marsha as a friend. She was a quiet, loving, caring and an always interested friend. We were friends through many strains of our life.  The Telander family respected her and loved her for who she was as a grand friend. We also loved her fudge!! She has been an angel on earth and now has gone on for more duty with the Lord. Our hearts will miss her.

My husband Mike and I will miss Marsha very much.  I always enjoyed seeing her at events & holidays.  She was definitely the most naturally nice human beings I have ever met.   She was such a warm, calm & inviting person that it always felt great to be in a conversation with her.  She was always genuinely interested in anything you had to say.   We will always remember her and cherish the time we spent with her.  Much love to Bob, Tim, Lindsey, Lucy, Sam and all the other family members & friends who Marsha touched.  Rest in peace Marsha, we hold you in our hearts and know you are watching over us.

Marsha was one of those truly kind people you only get to have in your life a few times.  My family was blessed to be able to have her as part of our family.  We couldn't of dreamed of a better Mother-in-law for Lindsey and Grandma for Lucy and Sam.  I remember asking Tim a few months after meeting Marsha if she ever got angry.  Tim laughed and said, not often, but he did witness her anger a few times "back in the day".  John and I are happy to have had Marsha in our lives and will miss her more than words can relay.

Marsha and I became friends when Tim and Rick started pre-school together.  I briefly worked with her at MHR in the pre-school. She was my library buddy and we loved to celebrate our birthdays on our decks.  She was truly a gentle soul and the kindest person I know-and I know many kind people.  She touched so many lives and will be greatly missed.  I will hold her in my heart forever.

Marsha was such a wonderful lady.  My family-especially my kids--loved her as their pre-school teacher, and I had the pleasure to work with her at MHR and to sub for her in the library.  I'll never forget how wonderfully patient she was with the kids, especially at the Christmas pageant  where most of the kids (including my daughter) were not particularly cooperative.  Rest well, wonderful lady. 


Marsha and Bob lived next door to my mom and dad for many years. I had Marsha ‘s mom as my first grade teacher! I have such great memories of them as great neighbors to my parents! Marsha will be missed! Love and hugs to Bob! 

Although I had four first cousins, two were quite a bit older than I was. But the two that I truly grew up with were dear Marsha and her brother Mike. Unfortunately, after their parents and mine passed from the scene, Marsha, Mike and I didn’t see as much of one another, but, when we did, it was something I very much looked forward to. There are way too many happy memories to single one out. But I know the world is less of a happy place now without Marsha’s smile.
