Jose P. Gamboa

He was born August 22, 1927 in Villa Guerrero, Jalisco. Jose and his loving wife, Clementina, courageously migrated to the US in 1953 leaving behind their late parents, siblings, and friends. They moved to the Chicagoland area in 1956 where they planted their roots and have remained ever since. Jose worked several jobs while learning english and finally got into the railroad industry. He retired as a proud Railroad Foreman for B&O CT, now part of CXS Transportation.

Jose was a loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, Godfather, and Friend. Husband of Clementina whom he spent the last 65+ years devoted to in good times and bad. Father of Salvador, Alicia (deceased 1953), Pedro(Adela), Daniel(Tania), Jose(Linda), Jesus (deceased 1957), Jesus, Gabriel(Martina), Clementina Marquez(Erik), Gustavo(Carmela), Rosa Haraf(Steve), and Guillermo(Emelda). Proud Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Uncle, Godfather, and Friend of many.

Funeral Friday 9:30am from Kenny Bros Funeral Home 3600 W. 95th Street Evergreen Park, IL to St. Francis of Assisi Church Chicago, IL mass 11am. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 3-9pm.
