Carolyn Ann Thomas

Carolyn Ann Bramlett was born on September 28, 1955 in Mt. Bayou, Mississippi to the late James Bramlett Sr. and Cora Mae (Preteet) Bramlett.

She attended John F. Kennedy High School and obtained her diploma in 1972.

Carolyn graduated from Chicago State University where she obtained a minor in Sociology her Bachelors and Masters degree in Addiction studies.

Carolyn as a mother, she gave unbiased advise, she opened her heart as well as her home to anyone who needed shelter or a place to stay.

Carolyn was an outstanding grandmother she was always there for her grandchildren. She loved to watch movies with them and cook them what ever they wanted, when they wanted it!

Carolyn was an avid reader and was a walking Thesaurus who loved to shop.

On August 5,2013 Carolyn passed away.

She was preceded in death by her parents ; brother James Bramlett Jr. ; sisters Betty Jean Bramlett and Annyce Bramlett Lee

Carolyn's beloved memory will be cherished by her son Curtis Thomas, daughters Tikimbra Thomas Johnson(Andrew), Shelana Woods (Annette) and Chilah Woods (Eddie Johns). 15 grandchildren and two great grandchildren ; siblings Mildred Bramlett, Earnestine Graham, Dorothy Thompson (Eric), Marilyn Bramlett, Patricia Bramlett, Henry Bramlett and Alvin Bramlett.
