Uncle Lad and I were so sorry to hear about your Dad's passing. He will be greatly missed by all who came in contact with him.

We so enjoyed the two visits we made to Washington and the week we got to spend with them in Hawaii.  I know your Uncle Lad has missed the occasional communiques with him these past couple of years. 

We will be thinking of you all with much sorrow.

Kate, Bill and David,     So sorry we couldn't be with you today, but will be watching the service as it's being streamed.
       We have been reliving Dad's visit with us in Ft Myers of  appx 3 years ago.  Certainly glad we had that time together. The great distance in mileage didn't allow many such occasions.
       One of Ann's fondest memories is getting up at 3am to prepare lunch for their father and Bill to go hunting.  She wanted to be part of  the experience. In fact, she often tried to  do what her big brother did and was quite the "tom-boy". To say she was proud of her brother and his accomplishments  ...would be an understatement.
       We'll all miss him. We try consoling ourselves knowing he isn't suffering  and is now with other family members  who have gone ahead.
        Our thoughts and prayers are with you today during this trying time and that we share your loss of "Wilhelm" as we sometimes called him.
