Im deeply saddened by the news of Toms passing. Thinking about Tom today, many great memories come to mind. He never seemed to have a negative word to say and always seemed to be wearing that great smile of his. Im just thankful that I knew him. My heartfelt condolences to Toms family.

Prayers to the Cassidy Family. The LSHS Class of '88 and friends have an angel looking over us. I just finished Tom's book. What an incredible journey he went though. I am so happy his pain is gone!  After high school Tom and I worked together at The Herald, I last saw him at our 20th class reunion and we compared ankle stories. His was way more extravagant than mine. Tom and I also attended the same church. The song I pick for you Tom, is On Eagles Wings.

So sorry for your loss. I have a special place in my heart for you and yours considering our over 60 year past. Take care of yourself, my friend.

I had many good times with Tom during high school.  He was so kind, funny and a pure joy to be around.  He's now with Jesus and in no more pain.  Thank you Tom for being a blessing to us all!

I was shocked and heartbroken to hear this news. Every memory I have of Tom includes that bright, warm smile of his. Such a sad loss. Sending lots of love, big hugs and deep sympathy to the Cassidys during this time of immeasurable grief.

I am truly heartbroken about Toms' tragic passing. First I want to send my prays and love to Carol and the rest of the Cassidy family. Tom was a great friend to me his friendship was a real gift! Tom was always the brightest light with the contiguous  smile and laughter! All my fondest High school memories all filled with Tom!  To know his suffering is over and that he is with his Lord and Savior up in heaven is comforting! RIP MY FRIEND LOVE & MISS YOU

Tom was the best friend you could ever have, he would never turn his back on anyone.  He was there everyday when my mother was sick and he cared for his father without any question.  He never put himself first. Whatever Tom had he would share with anyone.  I'm proud to say he was the Best friend I could have ever had. I loved him more then words can say. And I will never forget him.  

Tom, I do believe you were a shining star a Beautiful person inside and out from beginning to end. We were never really close but I remember you very well. You were always showing that beautiful bright smile of yours and laughing. I do remember seeing you water skiing on the Lake and you were definitely extreme :)  I'm sorry for your pain and suffering it's bittersweet to say I'm thankful you're no longer in pain and are walking with the Lord. Thank you for writing My Gift. I've seen two family members pass from cirrhosis first hand and it was extremely painful. I pray for your loved ones and those hurting.

My heart aches for the entire Cassidy family.   Tom and I were like brothers growing up, sharing so many of life's first experiences.   I am saddened beyond words.  The world seems a little less bright with the knowledge that he is not in it anymore, but he is at peace and with his God and left a legacy for us all of kindness, laughter, and countless memories.  God bless you and my thoughts are with you now.

When I think of our graduating class of 1988, I think of Tom. He was always so happy-go-lucky. We lost an angel here on earth. I just wish the last time I saw him, which was at our reunion, I would of sat down and really talked to him.

No words can express the loss of losing a friend.  Tom had an outgoing personality, he always had a big smile on his face.  My high school summers were full of adventure and memories.  He will be truely missed! ❤ 

I dont know where to start. So many memories with Tom and the Cassidy family. You guys were like my second family all through middle and high school. We were pretty much always together from 3 years on Spring breaks to Mt. Bachelor which was so nice and so much fun we had. Thank you! Tom pretty much tought me how to snow ski and water ski. Every day in the summer time we were out on the boat and at your home. From listening to the B52's to Devo and Tom Petty so much fun. I am so sorry he is gone at such a early age. My thoughts and prayers are with you Carol, Lisa and John. 

He is always in my some of my fondest memories from high school. Such a premature loss. Prayers and condolences to his family!

The best smile, and the most genuine of people.  I know he knew this.  He had to have.  Not knowing him as well as some of his classmates I can only say that he brightened the room, he made you comfortable, and he was a pleasure to know.  His light, his energy, his smile will be missed in this lifetime.  My condolences to his family.  Thomas was a wonderful soul to have known.

Tom always had a smile, for everyone.  He was one of the kindest and most gentle souls I've ever met.  My prayers are with his family.

I will never forget Tom's great smile and fun loving nature. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. My prayers are with the family. Jim and I both have so many memories that we will cherish.
