Thamra M. Goff left us on January 12, 2012 and joined her mother, Virginia M. Harper Goff, in heaven. Tami was born in May of 1961. Tami was raised and attended schools in the south Everett area. Tami earned her Associate Degree and became a Veterinary Assistant.
Tami has been an employee of Boeing for the last 19 years. During her employment, Tami has traveled to Europe and Asia as a project manager and has played an active role in the Boeing 787 project. Tami was also an active representative for Partylite Candles, and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Arlington, Washington, Post #76. In life, Tami’s animals were her true love. She had horses, dogs, cats and an exotic bird. Tami participated in fund raisers for Equine Therapy which benefitted disabled children. Tami was a valued member of the Morgan Horse Club and also had a fondness for wildlife.
Tami is survived by her father Richard Goff and stepmother Dorothy Goff; two brothers Brian Goff and Bob Herring; and sister, Cindy Meade. Tami is also survived by four nieces Jessica Overbagh, April Peterson, Stacy McGhie, and Rachael Goff. She had two nephews Derek Johnson and Michael Goff, and three grandnieces and four grandnephews.
Services will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, January 20 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway in Everett. Flowers are welcome, but in lieu of flowers a donation to the charity of your choice in Tami’s name would be appreciated.
