Samuel Luzanes Almelia age 68 passed away from on-going health issues, Wednesday May 3rd, 2023 at Kindred hospital in Seattle WA, Sam was born October 31st, 1954 in San Isidro, Pontevedra, Negros Occidental Philippines to Demetrio and Soledad Almelia. In 1979, Sam came to Washington state port of Everett on a ship as a 3rd Mate. Sam worked and study very hard to become an aerospace engineer at Boeing in Everett WA where he was employed for 30+ years. Sam retired from Boeing in 2016. Sam truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; fishing, dinning out, watching Clint Eastwood movies, walking his dog, learning new technology & especially family gatherings . Sam always knew how to fill a room with laughter & smiles from his humor and funny jokes. Sam is survived by his wife, Aileen; his children; Kenneth, April , Sam Jr., Olivia, Rosanna, Holly, Brian, Winston, Nicholas, Kateea and Jeryll; grandchildren; Makayla, Alyssa, Kevin, Ellie, Isaiah, Kyler, Cannon, Cordelia, Delilah, Addison, Taylor, Erayah, Bailey, Michael, Vincent, Liem, Kaden; great-granddaughter, Padmae and Fur-children Hermes & Channel.
A visitation for Sam will be held Friday, May 19, 2023 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery, 4504 Broadway, Everett, WA 98203. A funeral service will occur Saturday, May 20, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Evergreen Funeral Home and Cemetery. Graveside Service will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, followed by a reception at Evergreen Funeral Home Hospitality Room.
