Sallie was born in Everett to Lawrence Franklin and Mary Casin (Hunt) Kelley. She was raised in Everett and was an Everett High School grad.
She lived her entire adult life in the Everett/Mukiliteo area. Her working career included the administrative offices of B&M grocer, Everett Trust and Pioneer Bank.
Sallie was active in many community organizations including PTA’s, Trinity Lutheran Church bazaars, Assistance League, her condo board and Providence General Children’s assoc. Her hours of service and volunteering touched many lives.
Sallie had so many friends that she enjoyed traveling and spending time with. She was always up for an afternoon adventure, a bridge game or just a cup of coffee and a chat-with cookies of course.
However, her biggest legacy was her family. She was a proud mom, grandma and great grandma. She loved spending time with the family and she could often be found in the stands cheering on the grandkids. Everyone knew her as Grandma Sal. She was a wonderful cook and loved to host family get togethers. Her Christmas cookies and candies were legendary. Her friends, neighbors and family were all recipients of her delicious goodies.
Sallie was preceded in death by her parents and her older brothers Robert & Edward. She leaves behind daughters: Cindy (Kim) Brazell, Kristy (Mike) Spencer. Grandchildren: Christian (Lauren) Spencer, Nick (Tasha) Brazell, Ryan Spencer, Matt Brazell, Katie (Chris) Egland. Great Grandchildren: Mason, Landon & Charlotte Spencer and Beau Brazell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday November 21st at 1:00 pm, Rosehill Community Center, Mukilteo. Remembrances can be made to Providence General Children’s Assoc or your favorite charity.
