Ronnie Eugene Rubright, aged 75, passed away in Seattle, Washington after a brave fight through illness. He was born and raised in the charming town of Blaine, Washington, Ron was a man whose heart belonged to the water.
Ron’s journey of life was fueled by his passion for the sea. He pursued his dreams by attending dive school, working as a commercial diver for 15 adventurous years. His career led him to become a professional Mariner, where he proudly retired as a skilled tugboat engineer. A career that fulfilled his endless affection for the water.
Beyond his professional accomplishments, Ron had a vibrant array of hobbies that colored his life. He was an avid model boat builder and found joy in crafting remote-controlled planes. Ron’s love for mechanical marvels extended to his fascination with trains and nurturing a keen interest and enthusiasm in Porsche cars.
A beloved father and brother, Ron leaves behind his three cherished children Rianne, Rhett and Amanda; and a sister, Louisa Farmer and family.
He will be remembered for his adventurous spirit, gentle heart, and enduring passion for life’s many wonders.
His legacy sails on, carried by the currents of memories treasured by those who loved him dearly.
