Roderick Allen Edwards

During high school Rod attended the ROTC program and upon graduation he joined the Navy where he served from 1965 to 1971 as an optical landing system technician. During his time in the Navy he was awarded a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Gallantry Cross & Arm Forces Expeditionary Medal.

While in the Navy he met the love of his life Linda and after a whirlwind courtship, they were married June 7th 1969 in Tacoma, Washington. To this union was born 3 beautiful children; Robin, Holly & Dustin. Rod was a family man whom adored his wife and children. He taught them what family is about and what true love is. Rod worked all his life as a IT/computer guy, eventually ending up at what would be his favorite company to work for; Tulalip Tribes in their Data Services department.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Linda Edwards, his daughters Robin Price & Holly Danielson and his son Dustin Edwards: mother, Lettie Edwards: three brothers, Wilburn, David & Robert: grandchildren, Desiree, Dylan, Eleanor, Violet, Allen, Kiah & Jocelyn: great grandchild, Triston: and a host of other relatives and friends.

A memorial service to honor him will take place on Saturday January 21, 2017, 10:00 AM at Evergreen Funeral Home 4504 Broadway, Everett, Washington 98203.
