I just found out what happened and my deepest condolences to Diane and the family. Bobby was an ordain and married Joel and I on September 27 2010. He was also so much apart of our cash n carry family and he will be missed so much! We love you guys and are so sorry for your loss. 

Diana and family, I am so sorry to learn of Bobby’s passing and my heart aches for you. He was such a kind man, and devoted husband and father. The first time Bobby came into the store I remember thinking “now that’s a big fella!”  But his warmth and kind ways will always be what I think about.  We should all strive to live like Bobby through kindness and generosity.

Bobby was a dear friend, classmate, teammate, and Molokai and Lahainaluna Boarder bradda where he was proudly referred to as “Hawaiian “. I first met Bob at Kaunakakai School knowing him all through the years his personality never changed. I always admired his love for his ohana. I will miss my friend (“Hawaiian “) and so will the Molokai & Lahainaluna bradahs. Malama Pono Diane, Robert, Jodi and the Nakihei Ohana. Aloha Love Your All.

Bobby and I go back while living on Molokai. We grew up in different places on the island but got to really know each other while attending Lahainaluna High School. We had our Molokai gang which consists of Guy, Bruce, Gary D, Franklin, myself(Brandon) and Bobby. We had a special friend from Kona (Joe) that hung around us too. All of us attended Lahainaluna High school together and we were very close like Braddahs. When Bobby had to leave the school we all was very sad. As many years passed I got a chance to see Bobby again when some of us school boys visited him in Everett. It was so awesome seeing him and talk story about the old days. I even got a chance to play music with Bobby at his restaurant. I am so blessed meeting Bobby and had a chance to talk and to find out we were actually related. I am really going to miss you cuz. My condolences to you Diane and Ohana.

Both Jon and I meet this family when Bobby was our sons school bus driver. Our family connected and we have been so fortunate to have them as  friends and family. 
Both Jon and I would like to express our deepest sympathy to you all . There are no words that can explain our sadness. 
Bobby  and Diane has a heart that  is so big  you can not even imagine. We may not see them everyday but when we see them it’s like  we never left . Jody and Robert please take good care of mom . .

The first time I met uncle Bobby and his family was in 2001. I was only 6 years old. My dad brought us to his restaurant in Everett across from Angel of the Winds arena. They found out our families were both from Molokai and from that day on, we were ohana. We all grew so close and I’ll never forget the tight friendship my dad and uncle Bobby had. Now, I pray they’re reunited in heaven together. I’ll forever love and miss you. Rest in paradise uncle. A hui hou 🤍

Diane & I will never forget the 'bruddah' sitting across from us at the first church we attended in Everett when we'd just moved into the neighborhood .. Bobby would look at me, smile, then we would both do the "Hawaiian eyebrow" 'Howzit' thing! Locals understand.. (lol!) Diane leaned over and told me with a huge smile, I think he's from Hawaii..and I told her, YES He IS! And from that day, we had new 'Ohana..'Ohana O Hawaii Nei (Hawaii Family) as well as 'Ohana O Ke AKUA! 
As we began to grow in our kinship with he and Diana and the kids, so did our Love and Appreciation not only for each other as individuals, but also, our Love for God in Jesus Christ! 

It was a very special time in my life to have had the pleasure of not only knowing Bobby as a friend, but as a fellow musician..playing Praise & Worship, Hawaiian Style, ministering together..then playing Hawaiian Music at the restaurant..and Bruddah Bobby introducing me as a "Hawaiian Comedian"..I will miss those days spent visiting with him in the kitchen at the restaurant as well as the times he would take to come sit with me and whoever was with me to share his Aloha. My Bruddah, My Dearest Bruddah Bobby..I KNOW this is NOT Aloha, But A HUI HOU! Diana..Robert, Jodi & to all the mo'opuna.. 

Our Aloha and Our Prayers Are With You ALWAYS..And FOREVER! Me Ke Aloha Pau'ole I IESU Kristo.. the Bible reminds us..that though we be "absent from the body" (our earthly tent)..we are "PRESENT WITH THE LORD"! We Celebrate our Brothers' Life..with us..and now, With the LORD among those who have already passed before us all.. A Hui Hou My Bruddah..A Hui Hou!

Shawn Pope family met Bobby in 1998.

Loved his big smile and knowledge about people, life and good food.

Chinese food he loved describing and talking about it. His heart was golden , Always called me if he needed a vehicle for his Ohana. Loyalty and strong integrity will follow him to heaven. 
He loved the Lord and always was grateful for blessing’s he received.

You’ll be missed and loved.
