Richard E. Johnson, 86, of Arlington, Washington passed away on March 6, 2017. He was born on August 20, 1930, in Corning, Iowa to Edmund and Lavena Johnson. He attended Corning High School and then served in the Navy. Richard was a Jazz Guitarist who played for 60 years with different bands in Seattle, WA. He retried in 1992. He is survived by his sons: Warren Johnson and Larry (Debbie) Johnson; six grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Richard was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel Johnson, daughter, Lavena Johnson, granddaughter, Teris Vandergrift and grandparents, C.f. Johnson and Pearl Johnson. Internment services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, March 20, 2017, at Evergreen Cemetery.
