Rick Osborne, 54, a friend to all, returned to the loving arms of his Heavenly Father on June 28, 2012, after a 15 month battle with brain cancer.
A loving husband, father, brother and son, he was born in Everett, Washington, November 17, 1957, to the late I. Richard and Kathryn Osborne. He graduated from Everett High in 1976, and continued his education at BYU and Palmer College of Chiropractic. He married the love of his life, Rhonda Woodward, on April 18, 1980, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple.
Rick is survived by his eternal companion, Rhonda; and his four beautiful children whom he adored, Kari-Lynn (Jon) Tarleton, Cory (Tenille) Osborne, Kyle (Sarah) Osborne, and Krystal (Daniel) DeLucchi; along with six grandchildren. Rick is also survived by his brother, John Osborne, and his sisters, Judi Butikofer and Kathryn Spence.
Rick actively served in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, including serving as a full-time missionary for two years in Sweden. He had an energetic, fun-loving personality with an unconditional love for all; making everyone his friend. Rick's ability to view life in the most positive light, regardless of the bumps in the road, made him an inspiration to all.
We invite all to join in a public memorial service held in his honor on Saturday, July 7, 2012, at 11:30 a.m. at the LDS Everett Stake Center, 9509 19th Avenue SE, Everett, WA 98208.
