Nancy Lynn Wallace

She was born to Leighton and Dolores Wallace on July 23, 1947 in Everett. Nancy was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church where she was baptized and confirmed.

Nancy attended Everett schools, graduating from Everett High School in 1965. Following graduation she attended Washington State University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Home Economics in 1969. She taught vocational home economics in Blaine and Ferndale School Districts.

Nancy enjoyed outdoor activities, gardening, and fun times with friends, especially trips to visit college roommates.

Nancy’s active, full life changed when she was diagnosed with a chronic progressive form of multiple sclerosis. She moved home to Everett in 1981 where she was cared for by her parents and sister.

For the past 18 years she was a resident of Bethany Home, first on Broadway and later at Pacific. We are grateful for the loving care she received from the staff at Bethany. They truly became her family and Bethany was her home.

Nancy was preceded in death by her sister Janet in 2008 and parents, Dolores Wallace in 2008 and Leighton Wallace in 2009.

She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Joan and Daniel Bauermeister of Connell, WA; niece Jennifer Bauermeister, and nephew Davin Bauermeister.

Committal Service will be at 1:30 pm on Wednesday, November 12th at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park, 1615 SE Everett Mall Way, Everett, WA.
