Miles Gabriel Ackerman

Miles Gabriel Ackerman was already safe in our heavenly Father's arms upon his earthly arrival October 22, 2021. Though we had so little time with him before then, we counted every moment as a blessing. He is the light of our lives and will always be in our hearts.

When we held him, we remarked how he had his mother's nose and his father's ears. He was born 3 months early but was already 14 inches long, well on his way to being a big boy. His mother remembers how he would get really active when he heard his father's voice or when she had sweet food, and he was especially active at night well after bedtime. His father remembers the first time he saw Miles on ultrasound and was awestruck at the beautiful life we had created. His grandparents, aunts, uncles, other family, and friends cheered when we shared the happy news that we were to be parents. He touched so many lives.

He is preceded in death by many loved ones, family of both the two and four-legged variety, who we know have welcomed him to Heaven and will keep him company until he is one day again in his parents' arms. He is loved.
