Lorraine was born on November 25, 1920 in Argyle, Minnesota to Albert and Lena Ethier and died on January 30, 2012 in Everett, WA.
Lorraine graduated from Argyle High School in 1940 and moved to Green Bay, WI shortly after to join her mother's relatives. She worked there for a short time before moving to Rock Island, IL for a job in the Service Rubber Company. She later moved to Yakima, WA where she married John Scott. They had one daughter, Diane. Lorraine worked for the Bon Marche for five years before moving to Everett, where she worked for J.C. Penneys for 15 years, retiring in 1980.
After retirement she volunteered her time in a variety of services for Immaculate Conception Parish including funeral receptions, Alter Society, St. Rita's Guild, Food Program, Catholic Daughters of America and civic involvement included assisting with elections.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Edward, Thomas and Melvin; sister, Jeanette; and husband, John.
Lorraine is survived by her daughter, Diane (Mike) Neighbors; grandsons, Shane (Krista) and Daniel (finance, Melissa); and brother, Wallace Ethier, of Yakima.

Viewing will begin at 4 p.m., Monday, February 6, 2012; followed by Rosary at 7 p.m., at Evergreen Funeral Home. A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, February 7, at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Everett; with a reception following in Mattie Hall.
