Linda Kay Paterson, 68, of Arlington, Washington, entered heaven to be with her Savior Jesus
Christ on June 24, 2020.
Linda was born on July 8, 1951 in Tacoma, Washington, the only daughter of the late Walter
(Pat) M. and Helen I. Paterson.
Linda graduated from Arlington High School in 1969 and was employed by the Snohomish
County Courthouse in Everett. More recently she has been owner and manager of Paterson’s
Lazy Acres Tree Farm in North Lakewood.
Linda attended Smokey Point Community Church where her parents were charter members.
Linda loved working outside on the farm, caring for her pets, and horseback riding. She was an
avid reader, crafter and crochet master. Whenever she heard of a new baby on the way, she
immediately began working on an afghan gift. Linda was also part of a bowling league in Everett
and Marysville for many years.
Linda loved her family and enjoyed attending family dinners and celebrations. She was a caring
and giving person, often giving away Christmas trees to people in need.
Linda is survived by her brother Stephen (Darlene) Paterson of Wenatchee; nieces, Nicole
Paterson & Laurie Malloy of Snohomish, Janice (Jeff) Gower of Portland and Lavaun (Bruce)
Camp of Arlington; nephews Steven (Tonya) Paterson of South Carolina and John (Candice)
Bream of Marysville; cousins Jeri (Rich) Ekstedt of Bellingham, Judy (Dave) Abrahamson of
Marysville, Jesse (Teresa) Jones of Marysville and her beloved service dog, Noel.
A private graveside service will be held at Cypress Lawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers,
