Jim Kemp passed unexpectedly on May 8, 2010. He was 76 years young. Jim was born in Calgary, Canada on April 30, 1934 and was a lifetime resident of Everett, Washington. He graduated from Everett high School in 1953 and joined the US Navy right after graduation. He retired as a TV technician.
He is preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine; and his brother, Donald.
He is survived by his two brothers, Cecil Kemp and Doug Kemp; his sons, Mike, Jay, and Brian; and his daughters, Cathy and Wendy, and their families, including six grandchildren. He also leaves behind many good friends, including companion Betty.
Ever young at heart, Jim was best known for his cartooning and his pursuit of a good bargain. He was also an avid bowler, and he enjoyed magic and dancing.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, May 14, 2010 at Purdy and Walters with Cassidy Funeral Home, Everett, WA.
