Harwinder “Saab” Singh

Saab was born on February 12th, 1977, in Samana, Punjab to Gurdev Singh and Amar Kaur. He married his loving wife, Gursharanbir “Gini” Kaur on November 18th, 2007 in India, who gave birth to Aryan Singh on September 19th, 2009. He was a man of great faith who was gracious while also being very giving. In India Saab was brought up very religiously, and truly enjoyed listening to path, while being whole heartedly devoting himself to seva. Saab also enjoyed spending time with friends and family, playing cricket, and wearing his finest attire. Saab will always be remembered for being a truly hardworking individual, but never allowing that to take away from the time he spent with his family.

He is survived by his wife of 5 years, Gursharanbir Kaur, his adoring son Aryan Singh Bhullar, brother Jaspal Singh, sisters Manjit Kaur & Sarbjeet Kaur, in addition to his parents. His family would like to extend a very special thanks to the staffs at Providence Regional Medical Center, the University of Washington Medical Center, Seattle Cancer Care Alliance, and the family and friends who have provided the wonderful care and compassion they gave Saab, and our family in his final days. The love and support that has been received has been tremendously helpful and will never be forgotten in this time of need.

Most importantly Saab will be remembered for fighting hard against his cancer until the very last moments with a smile on his face, never allowing his disease to overwhelm his cheerful personality. He knew how to accept life’s choices and still keep a positive attitude. He possessed an unrelenting desire to live, which was the most inspiring thing of all.
