Glen Eldon Bogart, Jr. was born on November 13, 1952 and passed away suddenly on June 27, 2013. Glen lived in Everett all of his life and spent the last 42 years working in the lumber industry. He loved spending time with his family, camping, hiking, traveling, bike riding and boating. He particularly enjoyed music as demonstrated by his huge Beatle’s memorabilia collection. Glen could be found buying his favorite treat at Henry’s doughnuts on any given Sunday. His family claims that his first love was for his car, a 1968 Camaro, it was easy to get along with and never talked back.
Glen is survived by his wife of almost 43 years, Susan Bogart; three children, Allison (Jeff) Olson; Teresa Cooper; Glen Eldon III (Monica) Bogart; his mother, Margaret Kroeger; four grandchildren, Mercedes Olson; Glen Eldon Bogart IV; Joseph Bogart, Cooper Bogart, all of Everett, Washington. Five siblings, Theresa Williams of Marysville; Barb (Wayne) Kroeger of Everett; Tammy (Hal) Weese of Machias; Rick Bogart of Everett; Paula (David) Kroeger of Lake Stevens.
Glen is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joe and Mabel Bogart; father, Glen Eldon Bogart; father and mother-in-law Earl and Lyla Weese; son-in-law, Allan Cooper; brother-in-laws, Jay, Floyd, Rick and Alan Weese; sister-in-law, Marie Smiley.
He will be missed by his abundant family members, those who considered themselves family, and friends.
A celebration to honor Glen’s life will be held at “The Pond” in Machias, Washington later in July.
