Elizabeth was born December 9, 1921
in Akron, Ohio to John C. and Elizabeth Kelly.
From 1944 to 1946 she was a Wave in the United States Navy. This is where she met the love of her life, John A Robinett. They were married on May 4, 1946 in Akron, Ohio and then moved to Washington State. Through sixty years of marriage they raised five children all who reside in Snohomish County. She is survived by sons: John (Kathy) Robinett, Steve (Karen) Robinett, Daughters: Peggy Lang, Jackie Robinett, Terri (Joe) Micheals. Grandchildren: Ashley, Casey, Jake, Andy, Carly (Jasper), Dani, Tom, Brian (Amber), Nick, Jason (Angela) and Rachel (Ariel). Great Grandchildren: Leira, Devany, Hayden, Hunter, Greysen, Griffen, Madisyn, Sebastien, Aleks, Liam, Arabella, Hartlynn and Emry. Brother Jack Kelly, Brother-in-law Hank (Donna) Robinett and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Robinett and sister, Patricia Ritty.
Elizabeth worked at Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co., West Coast Telephone Co., and retired from the Boeing Co. where she was the original PBX operator at the Everett Plant. Elizabeth (Betty), devoted her life to her family and friends. Her home was always open to anyone who wanted to stop in and chat. She provided Betty’s Burgers to 5 generations of family and friends every Saturday night. She was a Cub Scout Troop leader, helped run the concession stand at Riverdale Ball Park for the Babe Ruth League. She attended every sporting event for her kids, grandkids and great grandkids until her final season.
A Rosary will be held Thursday 3/27 at 7:00 P.M. at Evergreen Funeral Home and her Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church (2501 Hoyt Ave, Everett) on Friday 3/28 at 12:15 P.M. Reception will following at The Port of Everett Blue Heron Room. Interment will be at 4:30 p.m. at Evergreen Cemetery, Everett, Washington.
In lieu of flowers donations could be made in Betty's name to the United Way of Snohomish County Disaster Relief Effort for Oso.
