Dale Edwin Griffin

Dale was born December 10, 1941 in Broughton, Kansas to Austin C. and Hazel Anne Griffin. The family later moved to Washington where Dale graduated from Moses Lake High School. Following High School, Dal joined the Navy where he served as Chief petty Officer during the Vietnam War. After Vietnam, Dale went to work for the Boeing Company as a Flight Safety Maintenance Instructor for 25 years until his retirement in 2006. One of Dale's favorite activities was to walk his beloved dog, Trina.

Dale is preceded in death by his father Austin Carl Griffin, mother Hazel Anne Griffin and nephew Tim griffin. He is survived by his three daughters, Rebecca Griffin, Karen Heater and Debbie Griffin; brothers John and Gerald; three grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild and nephew Jeff Griffin.

A celebration of Dale’s life will be at 2:00pm on Sunday, October 13, 2013 at Evergreen Funeral Home, 4504 Broadway in Everett. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made for Dale to Evergreen Funeral Home or Rebecca Griffin. Dale will be greatly missed by his family and friends and all who knew him.
